We all know how and have seen expensive diamond rings and diamond jewelry but there are other things that have been outfitted with diamonds that you might not have expected. Here's a list of some of the most expensive and extravagant items ever created complimented by (you guessed it) real diamonds.
1. The world's most expensive cell phone.
Designed by Peter Aloisson the smartphone costs a cool 1.3 million dollars and is made completely out of platinum and rose gold. The housing of the phone has over 80 diamonds, 50 of which run along either side of the front of the phone as well around the 1/2 carat navigation button.
2. Hello Kitty
A hello kitty figurine was designed by a company called Sanrio and is made completely out of platinum. The headband bow features gems including diamond, rubies, pink sapphires, amethyst, and blue topaz. It is by far the most expenive of the Hello Kitty collection and can be yours for only 163,000 usd.
3. The world's most expensive purse
In early summer of 2007 a diamond platinum purse created by Ginza Tanaka was debuted at a fashion show in Tokyo. The bag is made of pplatinum and encrusted with over 2,180 diamonds totaling in 208 carats. This ridiculous carryon clocks in at a cool 1.63 million.
4. The world's most expensive beverage
for only 225,000 usd you can enjoy Tequila Ley's tequila poured straight out of your choice of pure platinum or white gold bottles. Just so you know what you're getting, the tequila is made from pure 100% blue agave and aged six years. For those one a budget Tequila Ley also offers a gold and platinum bottle for only 150,000 usd and a silver and gold bottle for 25,000 usd.
5. Not your cup of tea?
The British tea makers PG Tips offer a celebratory anniversary teabag to commerate it's 75th birthday. The teabag is exclusive to those in the UK and is handcrafted using 280 diamonds and is available for you to enjor for 14,000 usd.
